Pearl is the leader of the Revolution Gems and was a former Crystal Gem member. After having Lapis Lazuli kidnap five-month old Steven, Pearl went down her path to become an anger-filled warrior with a vendetta. She stumbles into a secret society, which she now works at, called The Revolution.
Appearance[]
Pearl is the tallest member of the original Crystal Gems besides Rose Quartz. She has pink hair and sky-blue eyes, while her body is simply plain white. She has a white oval-shaped gemstone on her forehead.
Pearl wears a dark blue combat suit with a yellow star on her chest.
Personality[]
Pearl is a strict, focused leader. She will stop at nothing to have her goals met, even teaming up with her mortal enemy Lapis Lazuli in order to stop various enemies such as Amber, Onyx (or Jet at the time), and even Homeworld Gems, such as Jasper and Peridot 2F5L (in this case, Pearl took a Gem Destabilizer and poofed Lapis). Pearl does not hesitate to do whatever it takes to have the world and gems have peace, and the grand plan of this is revealed in "The Accords" when Pearl asks the gems to register to the Accords and threatens to lock up gems who do not register as criminals.
Pearl also has a soft side for her former leader, Rose Quartz. When Rose Quartz died for Greg to be able to have a child, Steven Universe, Pearl's love extended to Steven, and she also has a close relationship with the Greg, who is now known as Wild Card, the world's greatest assassin. As a result of this close relationship, when Lapis broke free of her mirror and stole Steven as vengeance, Pearl swore to seek revenge on Lapis. This revenge is exacted in "The Return", when Pearl uses Jasper's own Gem Destabilizer to poof her.
History[]
Prologue[]
Pearl carries a crying infant Steven, trying to get him to sleep. She wanted Steven to stop, and then Garnet told Pearl to get out the mirror and it worked, and she was pleased. That is until the mirror started to glow, water begin to appear out of the air's moisture. Pearl was shocked to see these events happening, and accidentally, she let go of Steven as she and Garnet were pushed away by the water.
Lapis, after freeing herself from the mirror, created an ice wall to block the entrance. Pearl tried to break the ice wall down, but to no avail.
She cried after finding out that Lapis had kidnapped Steven.
New Beginnings[]
Pearl first appears in Chapter 6, where we find out that she is working for the human government and as an agent of the Revolution.
During this chapter, she was on a stealth mission to secure an oil rig that was captured by pirates. Pearl managed to proceed with the mission by taking down each pirate one by one, (she also found out that the oil rig was drilling for the gem Amber and not for oil).
When she takes down the remaining pirate, the backup team swoops in and takes care of the rest of the mission, leaving Pearl confused.
Later that day, she goes to the Revolution's commander to demand answers about what happened during the mission. Commander Jake Samson explains to Pearl that there was a frozen block of amber that had dinosaur DNA, corrupting anything that was around the block. This only leaves her with more unanswered questions.
After returning back to the Temple, Pearl finds a letter and reads it with Amethyst, which leads to Chapter 8 in the Amber Arc.
Amber Arc[]
Pearl and Amethyst try to get to Ruby about the letter.
Post-Ambergeddon[]
Frustrated with her absence during the battle, Pearl holds a gathering with the strongest and smartest Gems, Lapis Lazuli and Peridot respectively, to move the shattered parts of Amber's gemstone.
Crystal Clear Revenge[]
After the death of Commander Samson, Pearl contemplates on the title of Commander that's being given to her.
Also, Onyx hits the fan.
"Serendipity" Arc[]
Pearl checks on the aftermath of the Onyx incident at J-son, with Hematite and Jade with her.
Civil War[]
Pearl invites the Crystal Gems; Amethyst, Ruby, Sapphire and Kyanite, to meet with her at the Revolution.

Abilities[]
Pearl has common gem abilities that help her, as well as self-taught lessons. This list also includes her weapon abilities.
- Rose Quartz's Knight: Pearl broke free of Homeworld when she ran away to Earth with Rose Quartz and self-learnt many new things. For a gem of her status, this is very impressive, as Pearls are only programmed with the basic knowledge to clean and serve.
- Spear Proficiency: Pearl possesses an extremely well knowledge of the spear and how to use it. Pearl is fond of using spear moves in combination with Ballet.
- Holo-Pearls: Pearl has the ability to create transparent light blue versions of herself. She can command them.
